The Familiar (2026) is a horror short film that I shot to be used in the Let's Play Don't Look Back video I made. I wanted to make it available independently from that video, for those who like to watch Micro Budget solo filmmakers.
Inspired by Horror Heavyweight, John Carpenter and the Halloween films, The Familiar follows a man being stalked and killed by a masked killer.
Shot on a Nikon Z50, and using practical effects and blood, I wanted to capture as much as possible in camera.

Don’t Look Back brings the excitement and terror of your favourite Slashers and Horrors to the tabletop, and I’m going to play through the first scenario, Camping, for you now!
A huge month of painting horror miniatures deserves a good write up! Featuring models from TTCombat, Hasslefree Miniatures and mostly Blacksite Studios
The short film I made for the Let’s Play Don’t Look Back video, in one place. Made on no budget, and on my own as actor, director, DoP, Props, and editor, using practical effects.
