How To Apply Waterslide Transfers

I used to always worry about transfers, scared of ruining my models with poorly applied decals.

After picking up some Green Stuff World products, I started trying my hand at getting some transfers onto models, working my way through finding the best way to use varnishes to not just protect the end result, but also as a primer for the transfer itself. Do I use Matt? Satin? No, Gloss gives the best result for moving transfers. Does the Decal Fixer help to move the decal when it's wet or dry better? Does Decal Softener work well instead of the Fixer to start with?

This resulted in how I now apply Transfers, and I present that to you now! This can be scaled up for adding transfers to vehicles, or scaled down for adding tally marks from the Cadian transfer sheet to the sides of weapons!

So enjoy how I finish off my 10th Regiment Necromundan Guard that I made using a Kasrkin Kill Team, Space Marine Transfer Sheet and the Necromunda Enforcer Transfer Sheet!

Using two Green Stuff World products, three TTCombat products and a Warhammer Contrast Paint to knock back the bright white transfer.
